DESCRIPTION:Race at an iconic airport\nIn 1936\, the military airbase of Brustem in Sint-Truiden opened its doors. Despite its rich history\, aircraft have been permanently grounded since 1996. But the runway and perimeter road… they’re still here. And this 2.8 km loop over the old landing strip forms the unique course for the ToogVedetten Grand Prix. \nRaces For men\, there will first be qualifying rounds. You’ll ride 3 laps\, and your time will determine whether you’re placed in category A (fastest)\, B\, or C. Next\, you’ll ride the finals (30 – 35 minutes). For women\, there are no qualifying rounds.
