Visual Reporting Points
During UAS operation it could be requested by “BRUSTEM radio” to enter and/or exit the SINT-TRUIDEN ATZ via following visual reporting points to separate manned from unmanned traffic operating above 150FT AGL:
- POINT ECHO:
- Position: 50° 48’ 18.16”N 005° 19’ 50.22”E
- Associated landmark: Village of Borgloon
- POINT SIERRA:
- Position: 50° 44’ 22”N 005° 07’ 27”E
- Associated landmark: Road/railway crossing south of village of Gingelom
Arrival Procedure
- No UAS operations: Overhead at 2000 Ft AMSL to join the circuit at circuit altitude
- During simultaneous operations of aircraft and UAS (above 150 FT)
- Avoid the SINT-TRUIDEN ATZ area west/northwest of the RWY axis
- DAC will provide arrival information on “BRUSTEM Radio” before entering the SINT-TRUIDEN ATZ to proceed via entry point ECHO or SIERRA.
- Visiting/arriving aircraft should join the circuit at the entry of the downwind leg:
- Direct entry, when entry of downwind leg is closest to the entry point
- Using the airspace outside the circuit pattern whenever a positioning turn is required.
- Altitude
- At entry point: 2000 FT AMSL
- At entry of downwind leg: circuit altitude
Departure Procedure
- No UAS operations: No restrictions
- During simultaneous operations of aircraft and UAS (above 150FT)
- DAC will provide departing information on “BRUSTEM Radio” before take-off to proceed via exit point ECHO or SIERRA.
- Avoid the SINT-TRUIDEN ATZ area west/northwest of the runway axis.
- Leave the circuit, following the recommendation of the DAC at the crosswind leg or at the end of the downwind leg, whichever is closest to the exit point, towards the exit point.
- Climb to and remain at circuit altitude until past the exit point
