Innovation in aviation

DronePort is a unique 30-hectare airport business park and test center dedicated to pioneering the future of carbon-free and autonomous Advanced and Urban Air Mobility. Within the next decade, we aim to be recognized as a leading air hub for the transport of goods and passengers. Committed to achieving CO₂-neutral and quiet air movements, we aim to accomodate aircraft propelled on electricity, hydrogen or other CO₂-free fuels.

Our airport operations are set to be fully automated, leveraging the capabilities of autonomous drones and robots. At DronePort, we offer state-of-the-art test facilities with segregated airspace, allowing companies, universities, and other organizations to test and develop innovative systems and pioneer in our strategic focus domains being artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, carbon-free systems, renewable energy and data management. All our test grounds are managed by Limburg Regional Airport in close collaboration with the Belgian Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA), ensuring safe and compliant operations.
