Drone Flight Academy performs night flight trainings at DronePort

Drone Flight Academy recently conducted night flight trainings at DronePort. This step represents a significant advancement in drone pilot training, focusing on skills essential for nighttime operations.

Night training overview

The night training, supervised by three experienced instructors, involved the use of the DJI Matrice 300 drone equipped with thermal imaging cameras. This equipment is essential for night missions, offering capabilities like detecting heat leaks and locating missing persons. The training emphasized mastering these tools along with the fundamental skills required for night flying, skills crucial for a range of scenarios including search & rescue, surveillance and inspections.

Drone Flight Academy operates across the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, offering training to various organizations including the Dutch Customs and Police, and the Antwerp Fire Brigade in Belgium.
